The Sensory Club
The Sensory Club was built for a place of calm and relaxation in a busy town!
Overwhelming space is a real thing and sometimes children need to spend time in a darker area with less noise - this is where the Sensory Club comes in benefit, along with a place where adults can sit down and rest for 5 minutes! (we get you too adults!)
Please remember to keep toys in here, we dont allow them to be swapped into different rooms due to being precious and fragile!

What Can I Learn in The Sensory Room that Will Benefit Development?
- Counting and building light up cubes (M), (PD).
- Different colours & textures of resources (M), (UTW), (PSED).
- Communicating about how colours make us feel, how do we feel in the sensory room? (PSED, M, CL)
- Puzzle solving walls (M).
How Can I Maximise Development With My Child Here?
- Inform children of different colours and textures "this pillow is soft", "There are red and blue fish in the bubble tube".
- Ask questions to prompt communication such as "what colour is this cube?"
- Descriptive words using senses such as "how do we feel in here?"
