Mias Salon is inspired by my little girl Mia, she loves having her space to organise with LOTS of pink. and pretty things to play with, I couldn't build a whole town without my little girl involved. She also helped to paint this room, with her name under the paint on the walls! 

 

What Can I Learn in Mias Salon That Will Benefit Development?
- imagination skills, creating hair styles, make up styles and using different resources. (EAD, UTW)
- using new vocabulary and communication to  customers. (CL, L, UTW)

- Cutting hair using scissors for scissor skills (M), (PD).

-Telephone communication skills (CL)

How Can I Maximise Development With My Child Here?

- Use imaginative play, ask for a particular service "can you paint my nails please?" 

- Ask questions to prompt communication such as (how much does my haircut cost?)

- Descriptive words using senses such as "how do I Look?"
